Gaming is the largest entertainment sector, already 3× music + film combined. And User Generated Content is the fastest growing sector of gaming, with over 500 million users logging onto platforms like Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, & GTA each month to play games made by their peers.

The industry realizes the potential of these platforms — but like on YouTube and other creator platforms, industry stakeholders struggle to connect with the individuals who drive the space, and already make $2B+ direct-to-consumer a year, without them.

Why { UGCon }

The next wave of growth for gaming & UGC can only come when creators & industry stakeholders see eye-to-eye. And that's why we're putting on UGCon.

Every Conference Talks About Creators — Never to Them

The "expert" at your gaming conference is one of a dozen salespeople at some middleman agency, who will talk about the scale of the platform, but has contributed nothing to it. They land the deal, take 40-70% of your spend, and place the opportunity where they have the most margin — not with the developer best for you.

Top Results Take Top Talent

Anyone who really thought they could make a top 100 game on Roblox would do it and collect the $1+ million a year it makes. Someone spending their time on spreadsheets and sales calls can't deliver top quality. You have to meet the people that can, on their own terms.

Relationships Are Everything

From celebrities and athletes in the 00s to YouTube creators in the 10s, we're constantly late to realize culture is driven by talented, young individuals. Creators of today will be the businesses of tomorrow behind billion dollar game, toy, & film empires. And it's how you treat them in the coming years that decides whether they build that with or against you.

Netflix L'Oréal The LEGO Group Roblox Epic Games Mojang

Plus leaders from Atlantic Records, Moonbug, 77X, top creator studios, and more.

The { Schedule }

No panels where five people talk at nobody. UGCon is built around real conversations — creators interviewing brands, brands interviewing creators, and everyone in the same room.

Day 1 — May 21

Creators Interview the Industry

Creators × Brands

Top UGC creators sit down with brand and licensing execs and ask the questions that actually matter. What do you want from UGC? What went wrong last time? What would make you bet big?

Creators × Platforms

Creators interview leads from Roblox, Epic Games, and Mojang. Where is the platform headed? What are you building for creators? What do you wish brands understood?

Creators × Investors

Creators ask VCs and strategic investors what they're actually looking for. What makes a creator investable? What's overhyped? Where's the real money going?

Evening at Topgolf

The conversations continue off-stage. Everyone in the same place, no formalities.

Day 2 — May 22

The Industry Interviews Creators

Brands × Creators

Now the brands ask the questions. How do you actually build these things? What does a good brief look like vs. a bad one? What would make you turn down a deal?

Investors × Creator Studios

Investors dig into the business side. How do studios scale? What are the unit economics? Where is UGC headed in 3–5 years?

Open Networking

Unstructured time for follow-ups, introductions, and the conversations that start real partnerships.

Closing Party

The night everyone remembers.

Everyone Who Matters,
In One Room

Brands & IP Holders

VP-level licensing, marketing, and digital innovation execs from entertainment, beauty, music, toys, sports, and fashion. The decision-makers who sign off on UGC gaming partnerships.

Creators & Studios

These creators don't attend traditional industry events — UGCon is where you reach them. Top-tier and emerging UGC creators building on Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, and GTA, including studios like Twin Atlas, Voldex, Noxcrew, and independent developers with millions of players.

Platforms & Investors

Representatives from Roblox, Epic Games, and Mojang. Plus VCs, family offices, and strategic investors looking at the UGC gaming creator economy.

Topgolf Las Vegas

May 21–22, 2026  ·  Topgolf Las Vegas

Two days at Topgolf Las Vegas, immediately following Licensing Expo. If you're already in town, UGCon is a natural extension to your trip.

Conference { FAQs }

UGCon is a two-day conference in Las Vegas connecting brands and IP holders directly with the native creators who build games and experiences on Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, and GTA. It features keynotes, case study panels, creator showcases, workshops, and networking events. It is organized by Makeshift Partners, the strategic advisory that connects companies like The LEGO Group, Netflix, and 77X with top UGC creators.
UGCon is invite-only to ensure every person in the room is a decision-maker, top creator, platform rep, or investor. We curate the attendee list so conversations are high-signal from the start. Prospective attendees can request an invite through the registration page — we review every application individually.
UGCon is designed around connection. Day 1 closes with an evening networking reception. Day 2 features creator demo sessions, workshops, open networking time, and a closing afterparty. There's also a dedicated networking lounge open throughout both days for follow-up conversations and organic introductions.
May 21–22, 2026 at Topgolf Las Vegas. UGCon takes place immediately after Licensing Expo (May 19–21 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center).
UGCon is scheduled to start the day after Licensing Expo ends at Topgolf Las Vegas. While they are separate events, the timing is intentional: the brand executives attending Licensing Expo — from companies like The LEGO Group, Netflix, Warner Bros., and Hasbro — are the exact people who should be exploring UGC gaming. Rather than asking them to make a separate trip, UGCon lets them extend their time in Vegas by two days.
UGCon covers Roblox, Fortnite (including UEFN), Minecraft, and GTA — the four major UGC gaming ecosystems. We'll also have sessions exploring emerging platforms like Hytale. Representatives from Roblox, Epic Games, and Mojang have all confirmed attendance.
Tickets are $249 for full two-day access — the same price for everyone, whether you're a creator, brand exec, or investor.
UGCon is organized by Makeshift Partners, a strategic advisory that connects brands with the best UGC gaming creators across Roblox, Fortnite, Minecraft, and GTA. Makeshift is not a creator network or studio — they don't own creators or sell production services. This neutrality is what makes UGCon different: every introduction is genuinely best-fit, not a sales pitch.
